Loved The Frugal Travel Guy (TFG) Handoook, exceptionally easy to read, TFG tips are wonderfully

narrated with Rick Ingersoll’s/TFG passion exuding in every page. Especially enjoyed the

Bump chapter, rental car words of wisdom, and turnkey explanation on the value

of miles. TFG’s first person examples (goldpoints, wendy’s coupons, and round

the world trips) complement the TFG tips perfectly.

Most readers will be able to plow through in one sitting–The Frugal Travel Guy’s words captivate

the TFGal/guy reader. Most importantly, TFG tips work..I now have banked over half-a-million

frequent flyer miles since Jan 09 following TFG tips. For example, thanks to Rick (TFG)’s Bank

Direct referral I have earned over a hundred thousand AA miles since March.

Outstanding work Rick & Katy Ingersoll

You can’t get any better a resource for “Frugal Traveling” than the Frugal Travel Guy himself! I’ve been a follower of his for a long, long time and if you want to know the inside scoop on how to travel around the world at either low or zero cost, this is a great resource to have. No one should be paying full, non-discounted fare prices for any part of their traveling – whether it be air, hotel, rental cars, etc.

Great book! Was shocked to see it sell this low in price. There are other bloggers out there that are nowhere near the Frugal Travel Guy in knowlege and charge well over $50 for books 1/5 of this handbook’s size. Great for beginners or people who have done this for a while. Even if you are not collecting this is a humorous look into what great length some people take to earn free travel or more. This book is filled with knowledge and is overall a fun read!

You don’t have to fly to get miles! Ingersoll breaks through airline fine print with hugely profitable practical steps to accumulating hundreds of thousands of frequent flyer miles — all for little or no investment. My husband reads his blog every day and keeps us on the go for great, almost free vacations. We even happened to meet Rick and Katy flying through Hawaii (where we flew free, first-class!). For any couple who loves to travel to great places, cheap, this book is for you.
